Introducing The Edison: Where Decadence Meets Innovation
Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, The Edison stands out as a beacon of sophistication and indulgence in the bustling city. This music venue and cocktail bar perfectly blends the old-world charm of a 1920s speakeasy with a touch of modern flair. From the moment you step through the ADA-compliant main entrance, you are transported to an era of glamour and elegance.
The menu at The Edison is a culinary journey of imagination, innovation, and indulgence. Indulge in artisanal flatbreads like the Heirloom Tomato with Creamy Buffalo Mozzarella or the Butcher's Block with Spicy Sopresetta. For those looking for something truly unique, try the exclusive Patent Plates, such as the 20th Century Sliders or the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich.
But the true highlight of The Edison lies in their desserts. The Elvis PanFried Sandwiches filled with Peanut Butter and Banana are a pure delight, while the Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies served with your choice of Ice Cream are a decadent treat not to be missed.
As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I can't help but be captivated by the ambiance and culinary offerings at The Edison. The reviews speak for themselves, with guests raving about the great food, outstanding service, and unique atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable night out, The Edison is the perfect destination. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles.
“ Really hoping the Edison reopens in the near future as I have really enjoyed celebrating my birthday there (pre-Covid)! Our party of 7 had a great dinner, wine, and free entertainment on a busy Saturday night. If you are looking for a spacious yet intimate 1920s speakeasy/restaurant for a memorable night out, this is it!! ”
“ Great food great atmosphere awesome food. Service was outstanding!! Manager came to table to make sure service and food was good. Will be back. ”
“ The Edison was and is my favorite venue in L.A. And it's all about the ambiance, the decadence, the authenticity of the surroundings. It makes you feel decadent. Or like a vampire lord or lady. Dress well, bring your good credit cards, and prepare to feel like a true part of the 20's in crowd that knows a secret. The food is good but not the main draw or takeaway. Parking is on the street and you have to go down an alley to get to the entrance, denoted by a bouncer, then down stairs to the subterranean masterpiece. ”
“ Incredible environment with elegant hostesses. Wonderful music and unique appetizers. Always special to go there. ”
“ Great local farm to table restaurant and if you call in advance, they'll do a vegan option. ”
